Testify

This documentation has been developed to help you understand what Testify is used for.

What is Testify?

Testify is an open-source generic framework used for the testing of Object Request Brokers (ORBs). It is based on an Apache Yoko fork, originally built for OpenLiberty.

What is an Orb?

An ORB is a middleware which allows program calls to be made from one computer to another via a computer network.

What is Yoko?

Yoko is an open-source project maintained by IBM, and is an implementation of an ORB system to carry out interprocess communication.
